Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)

 The Great British Insulation Scheme is a new government energy efficiency scheme (formerly known as ECO+) that will be administered by Ofgem. It is designed to deliver improvements to the least energy-efficient homes in Great Britain to tackle fuel poverty and help reduce energy bills.

GBIS funding may be available to anyone at any income level, so long as their home meets certain pre selected requirements determined by Ofgem the schemes governing body.

In order to benefit from the scheme you must own your own home or have the permission of your landlord or management company and the home must fit within the following brackets. 

• Your home must be in a Council Tax band A - E
• Your homes EPC must be rated between D - G
